Karen Vincent has represented the Old Catton Division since 2017. Having lived locally for most of her adult life and serving the area as a Broadland District Councillor since 2015 she has first-hand experience of local issues.
She works hard for the community and has a track-record of getting things done. Karen has proven she will put her head above the parapet to speak out on issues that matter locally and has been an effective voice in challenging planning applications to ensure appropriate infrastructure is delivered and in securing highways and footpath improvements. She continues to press for improved public transport links.
Since elected Karen has been an active Councillor at County Hall and played an active role in the community – from holding community information events and monthly advice surgeries in Sprowston Library and the supermarket to listen and talk with residents, to working closely with the local councils and Safer Neighbourhood Panel to ensure local views are heard.
