Since 2017 Penny has represented Caister residents as your County Councillor. Penny has held several important committee chairmanships and is currently Chairman of Norfolk Health Overview & Scrutiny Committee and was honoured to be asked to be Vice Chairman of Norfolk County Council in 2020.
Penny continues to work for the residents, used her division allowance to put bollards in place outside the co-op. Pavements re surfaced in Reynolds Avenue and Caister Federation of Schools. Worked closely with members of the public and Caister Parish council in challenging Caister Sewage Treatment Plant. If successfully re-elected Penny will continue her work for all residents of Caister.
To represent the views of all residents. Continue to assist anyone who needs my help and advice, to support the Parish Council, Parish Councillors and Great Yarmouth Borough Councillors all of whom have the best interests of the residents in all their collective decision making. To promote my county and community in any way possible be open to change and challenge when I feel that it will have an adverse effect for the community of Casiter.
Penny has served on the Great Yarmouth Borough Council for the last two years for the Caister South Ward and has been chosen to be the Conservative Party Candidate for the Caister on Sea Division for the Norfolk County Council Elections.
Penny recognises and understands the important responsibilities of a working Councillor. Crime and anti social behaviour blights our lives and communities and she has overseen 2 Public Space Protection Orders since being elected helping our communities be protected.
Before retiring Penny worked for Norfolk Constabulary as a Civilian Crime Reduction Officer helping forge links with agencies within the town partnerships. Penny supports many groups and takes part in a multi agency group that pay visits to the vulnerable and elderly within the Borough.
Penny is fully committed to work with all local groups who work tirelessly for the residents of Caister on Sea.
