Barbara Tullett

Barbara moved from London to Thetford in 1973, an area she values for its rich history and easy access to green spaces. She has 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren all living in Norfolk. Barbara worked for the MoD for 20 years in various departments.

She is the Treasurer and Membership Secretary for The Friends of Thetford Museum and feels that with the Charles Burrell, Dad’s Army museums and Castle Hill form a significant tourist attraction.

With the changing role of the High Street Barbara would like to see the development of the town river frontage into a social hub. Barbara’s pet hates are litter and fly tipping which create an eyesore and are a waste of resources to clear up.

Barbara is proud to live in Thetford and now that she has the time would like to serve as a Councillor to work towards providing a vibrant environment for the next generation
